Beautiful location in a pretty village in the foothills of the Black Forest range of mountains with la lovely garden. Convenient free car park on site. Nice spacious and quiet room (when we closed the window). Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bed was very firm and the rooms overlooking the car park can be quite close to the road... The food was too oriented to the gourmet extreme. We ate in the lower cost "Stuben" rather than the Michelin star restaurant, but even that was expensive and we found the food rather too salty.Our German language knowledge is basic, and the menu was vast and confusing, using pretentious words which weren't translated into English in the "English menu" which was prepared for us at short notice.

Spacious room, well furnished with excellent storage facilities. Good sized bathroom with good shower. Excellent buffet breakfast with cereals, fruit, bread, meats and cheeses. Cooked eggs available on request.

Beds were hard making sleeping uncomfortable. No spare pillows available in room. Good WiFi internet connection only available close to reception.
